Phendimetrazine
is used to curb
your appetite.
It is best used
as a short-term
supplement to
diet and
exercise to
assist in weight
loss.
How Taken
You should
take
Phendimetrazine
at least one
hour prior to
meals. It is a
sustained-release,
long acting
product and it
is important
that it be
swallowed whole.
If you crush or
chew them you
will destroy the
sustained long
acting property
of the
medication and
this may cause
increased side
effects.
Because this
medication may
cause
sleeplessness,
you should avoid
taking a dose
late in the day.
Take this
medication as
prescribed. Do
not take it more
often or longer
than directed.
It is usually
taken for 8 to
12 weeks. It is
generally not
recommended to
take
Phendimetrazine
in combination
with other
appetite
suppressants.
Consult with a
doctor before
such use.
Missed Dose
If you miss
your dose of
Phendimetrazine,
it is important
that you DO NOT
double the next
dose. Just skip
the missed dose
and restart your
usual dosing
schedule the
following
morning.
Possible Side
Effects
The most common
side effects
reported have
been experienced
only in the
first few days,
as the body
becomes use to
the medication.
They are blurred
vision,
dizziness, dry
mouth,
sleeplessness,
irritability,
stomach upset or
constipation. If
these effects
persist or
become annoying
or troubling,
inform your
doctor. If you
experience chest
pain,
nervousness,
pounding heart,
difficulty
urinating, mood
changes,
breathing
difficulties or
swelling while
taking this
medication-notify
your doctor. If
this medication
makes you dizzy
or lightheaded,
avoid driving or
engaging in
activities
requiring
alertness.
Storage
Store your
Phendimetrazine
at room
temperature and
keep it away
from sunlight
and moisture. As
always, keep
this medication
out of the reach
of children.
Overdose
Seek
emergency
medical
attention.
